Stay Germ Free with Burt's Bees! (Quickie Review)
I've made it no secret that I detest germs and that I think kids are cootie harbingers {even my own}. I don't have the time or patience for being sick and I don't want my little ones to fall ill either, so I'm pretty diligent with the hand sanitizer {but only when washing hands with good ol' soap and water is not an option}. I LOVE this Burt's Bees Aloe and Witch Hazel Hand Sanitizer {sent for review} because it is so quick and easy to use! I keep it in Kenzie's stroller and bring it with us when we go to pick up London from the bust stop. I usually bring her a little treat {and even when I don't}, and I like to spray her hands with sanitizer as soon as she gets off the bus {she has her own, but she's five so I can't rightly expect her to be that good at keeping her hands clean}.

Make Back to School Scent-Sational with Bath and Body Works!
We all know that I'm obsessed with Bath and Body Works and so it should come as no surprise that my girls are a bit obsessed too! One of our back to school traditions {it's been a long standing one between Peyton and I, and this year London got to join in on the fun as well}is to stock up on new PocketBacs and holders for their backpacks {and maybe a few for me as well}! This year, Peyton wanted to get a Scentportable for her room and locker as well, and how could I say no when I saw all of the cute options available? {Some products were sent for review/feature consideration}

The Healthier Way to Get Germ Free-AKA: Clean Well Antibacterial Products
Back to school for me signals the end of the safe haven away from germs that is our home during the blissful summer months. The lil bits (Lo and Kenzie) and I are at home all day during the week, secure from the grime and bacteria of the world (I may have slight issues with small children and their nasty, germy ways-just thinking about it skeeves me out). So when my oldest daughter, Peyton, returns to school, it means that not only is she being exposed to hoards of germs, but inevitably she's bringing them home to share with us too :(

So Useful, I Had To Keep Them!-AKA: Scotch-Brite Botanical Disinfecting Wipes
I put these bad boys to good use as soon as I received them! |
If you are a parent with school aged children, you know that back to school supplies are no longer limited to just what your student needs for class. Often times parents are also asked to contribute supplies to help keep classrooms and common areas clean for everyone. In fact, Pey's supply list included paper towels, facial tissues, and baby wipes. Don't judge me. I fully intended on being super mom and donating these wipes to Pey's class when I got them. But then Kenzie made a monster mess on her high chair and we were all out of paper towels so... it was Scotch-Brite Botanical Disinfecting Wipes to the rescue! Not only are they the perfect solution for keeping classrooms germ free, they sure to come in handy at home.

Germ Free California Dreaming with New Scents from Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Pocketbacs
My 11 year old daughter, Peyton, is obsessed with Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Pocketbacs; every time she has a little bit of pocket money, she's buying a new one or one of the cute little holders. Well, confession time: after years of stocking up on them for her during back to school time, I think I now share her obsession! And with the steady introduction of new scents, and it's overall usefulness (not to mention it's cute factor), who can blame me!
Check out 3 of the latest scents, inspired by summer fun in the California sun:

Essentials: Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soap
True story: I used to keep a regular bottle of mass market soap (that shall remain nameless) in all 3 of our bathrooms and on the kitchen sink, These bottles would last forever (including a refill bottle that the hubby had since before we got married), which I thought was a good thing; what a bargain, right!?! Not so much...
