Keep Skin Clear Naturally with Belli Skin Care!
Having been pregnant 3 times, I closely remember having to adjust so many things in my daily routines - from what I ate, my normal activities, and even what I used on my skin! I remember the anxiety that came with wanting to make sure that I still looked my best {which isn't always the easiest thing with surging hormones and a burgeoning belly} without putting anything on my skin that could potentially harm my baby. That's a really difficult feat when you have acne prone skin, as many products created to treat the condition contain ingredients that are no so good for babies. But now, there's Belli... {products sent for review/feature consideration}

SheaMoisture African Black Soap Problem Skin Mask and Moisturizer
I suppose I should preface this post by saying that I have yet to try a product from SheaMoisture and its sister company, Nubian Heritage, that I have not LOVED! So this week I will be sharing a post daily highlighting a few of the products from the brand that I have had the pleasure of trying out lately! I'm going to start with a some of the stellar items from the African Black Soap Problem Skin line - namely the Facial Mask, Moisturizer, and Bar Soaps. {Products sent for review}

Reviva Labs Problem Skin Mask
Reviva Labs Problem Skin Mask |
I've had this mask for a while {Reviva Labs graciously sent it out to me to give it a go}, but I broke it out for the first time last night. I think because I'm a glasses wearer, I hesitate to use masks that often {though ideally, I would like to use one at least once a week} - sometimes the thought of either being sightless for a measure of time or dealing with the mess of getting the mask on my glasses is just more trouble than it's worth to me {though I'll freely, yet shamefully, admit that this may be a touch of laziness on my part; it's not a good trait but I'm working on it}.

Skin Like Fresh Chicken Cutlets (In a Totally Good Way)! AKA: FutureDerm Time Release Retinol 0.5
I read a quote on Facebook from Leslie Blodgett of Bare Escentuals last night, and it was like a sign that it was time to write this post. She said "when you wake up in the morning your skin should feel plump and hydrated. If not, you aren't getting the most out of your skincare and your skin isn't recovering from the drain and bad influences of your day." Now of course she was recommending a new serum or something rather from her company, but I know that I don't need it, because I have this...

Testing, Testing: AHA Brazilian Peel Clear, Pt. 1
It's possible that I try out more skin care products than the average woman: don't be jelly though, it's all for you lovelies (ha)! Since I like to take at least a few weeks to do accurate reviews on skin care items, I thought that perhaps I would start doing an introduction to a product right as I begin to test it. That way if you were thinking about making a purchase but were unsure, or maybe you have a specific need but don't know what's out there, this could give you a heads up. Then after I've had some time to try it and see how it works, I'll come back with a follow up review/results post.
