This was a great month for favorites, inasmuch as I had a really difficult time narrowing it down to these {and there was no way possible that I could cut it down to ten}. Some of the items here have been in my collection for a while, but I am rediscovering how much I love them {and wondering how I forgot about them in the first place}, others are new to me {thanks to the lovely companies that I have the pleasure of working with}, and once again I'm left to wonder how I ever did without them. So without further ado, here are my favorites for the month of June...

June 2013 Favorites!
This was a great month for favorites, inasmuch as I had a really difficult time narrowing it down to these {and there was no way possible that I could cut it down to ten}. Swim-Proof, Sweat-Proof, Heat-Proof Eyes with Smashbox, MAKEUP FOR EVER, and Rimmel
Waterproof Eyes by mamafashionista featuring a creme eyeshadow
I may have mentioned this before, and you may have already noticed, but it's HOT outside. Even before the onslaught of heat, I was super self conscious of the dreaded raccoon eye, because of my oily complexion, so I developed methods to ensure my makeup stayed in place (especially after numerous occasions where I asked the hubby if my makeup was okay, and his response was "yes," only to discover that my eyeliner had actually made a messy migration south of my waterline). But when it's hot outside, I don't necessarily want to pile on products, I'm looking to keep my routine as simple and light as possible. I've found a few products that help me to achieve a simple, yet chic, budge proof look in the least amount of steps possible.

Goldilocks...
So I've been MIA (which is so not good since I just started this), but I've been working to figure out what exactly I want this thing to be and what I'm trying to convey. I've been exploring and researching and soaking in so much inspiration from all over the "blogosphere." There are so many awesome blogs out there, driven by such fantastic, creative, intelligent, absolutely stylish women; I've been a little intimidated, because ultimately I really want to join their ranks. So I've been emailing, making notes, checking out blog after blog, site after site to try and shape and hone my view, and I think I'm almost there. Just need to get some photos/pics and maybe some advertisers and sponsors and I really believe I can take this blog thing somewhere.
Meanwhile, I have been in search for the perfect blue liquid eyeliner (something to accentuate my dark brown eyes just right) and it's down to a few contenders:
MAC Fluidliner in Waveline
MAC Liquidlast Liner in Blue Herizon
MAKE UP FOREVER Flash Color in Bright Blue 14
(and no, it's not technically a liner, but look at that color!)
I'm leaning towards the MAKE UP FOREVER color, but in order to find that perfect one, I'm totally open to suggestions. So what do you think? Leave a comment and let me know. I'll post a picture when I choose that "just right" one...
Until next time (promise it will be sooner!)...
