Celebrate National Fragrance Day with Goutal Paris

Celebrate National Fragrance Day on March 21st with one the beautiful fragrances from the Author of Perfumes since 1981 - Goutal Paris. {Product provided for review/feature consideration}

Bois d’Hadrien EDP ($127 1.7oz / $202 3.4oz, us.goutalparis.com)

Annick Goutal’s daughter, Camille, envisioned the sky of a Tuscan sunset when creating this perfume. The blend of cedar, Siberian pine, fir balsam, incense, and musk will take you straight to Italy.

Notes: Cedar, Siberian Pine, Fir Balsam, Incense, Musk

(Bois d'Hadrien is woodsy (which makes sense since the name translates to Hadrian's Woods) and slightly masculine in a way that I absolutely love!)

Rose Pompon EDP ($116 1.7oz / $170 3.4oz , us.goutalparis.com)

As you stroll down Rue des Rosiers in Paris, you can feel the vibrant, sparkling atmosphere along the cobblestone street, punctuated with the laughter from café terraces and snippets of shopkeepers' conversations. In the spring, the climbing rose bushes flower in clusters. The wind stirs their pompom blossoms and swirls their refreshing scent with the sweet, tangy smell of pastries.

Notes: Bulgarian Rose Essence, Taïf Rose, Peony, Blackcurrent, Raspberry, Pink Pepper, Woody Cedar, Patchouli, White Musks

(Rose Pompon is very floral. Rose is definitely the predominant note and I'm not mad about it :) )

Eau d’Hadrien EDP ($127 1.7oz / $202 3.4oz, us.goutalparis.com)

The first fragrance from the legendary house of Annick Goutal, conveys the fiery sun and the brilliant light of Tuscany add to the charm of the cypress-lined terraces. The hottest hour of the day is the best time to sink into the soft shade of the lemon trees and reread a few passages from Memoirs of Hadrian.

Notes: Sicilian Lemon, Citron, Grapefruit, Green Mandarin, Ylang-Ylang, Cypress, Bergamot

(Eau d'Hadrien is delightfully citrusy with a crispness that makes it perfect for spring!)

Petite Cherie EDP ($127 1.7oz / $202 3.4oz , us.goutalparis.com)
This fragrance represents an enchanted garden, where a pear tree blossoms beside a blooming rose bush. Not fully woman, not fully child, Petite Chérie picks a pear from the tree and discovers the tenderness of a kiss between flower and fruit. A fragrance to embrace.

Notes: Pear, Peach, Musky Rose, Freshly Cut Grass, Vanilla

(Petite Cherie might just be my favorite of the bunch - it is delicate, fruity, and fresh.)

Y'all know I'm a fragrance junkie and adding these lovely fragrances to my collection just made my heart happy. They are all unique and distinct - they're exactly what comes to mind when I think of signature scents. They're the kind of fragrances that you smell once and can't forget, the kind that form a strong sense memory. Until next time...
