Runaway Husbands Wives Meditate Together World-Wide

Book provided for review/feature consideration

Friday, August 26 at 4pm eastern time, women around the world will stop what they are doing to meditate together in an effort to create a positive wave for all the suffering abandoned wives of runaway husbands. Using the Insight Timer app, women from Australia, Poland, Cyrus, Hong Kong, Belgium, Great Britain, The Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland and all over the U.S. and Canada will meditate for five minutes on the intention: May We All Find Peace.

What all of these women have in common is that they experienced Wife Abandonment Syndrome - when a man leaves out-of-the-blue from what his wife believed to be a stable happy marriage without every having told her he was unhappy or thinking of leaving. Following his sudden departure, he replaces the caring he'd typically shown her with anger and aggression. He often moves directly in with a girlfriend, leaving his bewildered wife totally devastated.

For a woman left in this way, this will undoubtedly be the defining event in her life, and although recovery is a struggle, many women find that it forces them to reinvent themselves in positive and exciting new ways. Women suffer greatly, feeling alone and like they are going crazy. Many think of suicide. When they find the runaway husbands community, they finally get the support and answers they crave and can start to recover.

200,000 women a year from literally all over the world visit the runawayhusbands.com website. Wife Abandonment Syndrome has reached epidemic proportions. The site is based on the book, Runaway Husbands: The Abandoned Wife's Guide to Recovery and Renewal by family therapist, Vikki Stark.

Until next time...
