On Sunday, May 8, Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse welcomes families to celebrate Mother’s Day with a culinary journey through Southern Brazil. Guests can enjoy selections such as the house specialty picanha sirloin, filet mignon, ribeye, lamb chops, center cut bone-in pork chop, and chicken wrapped in bacon. As a special gift, Moms who dine on Mother’s Day weekend will receive a Dining Card good for a complimentary lunch or dinner on their next visit! {We were provided a complimentary dining experience at our local Fogo de Chão (in Atlanta) in exchange for this post}
We had such a stellar experience at Fogo de Chão Atlanta - we were blown away by the level of care and service that we received. I really appreciated how thoughtful and attentive the entire staff was, not just to my husband and I, but to our young daughters as well. Our server, Daniella, took the time to explain several facets of the menu and unique manner of service. She really elevated our whole dining experience. In fact, London surprised me by being quite adventurous in her food selections and the lamb chops ended up being her favorite part of our meal. The guacho chefs that present at table side were quick, generous, and persistent - it is impossible to leave hungry! We enjoyed several choice cuts of steak {I loved the top sirloin, while my hubby was partial to the ribeye}, savory pork ribs and succulent, slow roasted beef ribs, as well as pork and chicken selections. And the selection of salads, veggies, charcuterie, and sides at the Market Table was astounding {and delicious - I highly recommend trying the traditional Brazilian black rice dish}.
The Mother’s Day menu is comprised of a variety of simply seasoned meats that are carefully fire-roasted and served tableside by authentic gaucho chefs. Additionally, Fogo offers a gourmet Market Table & Feijoada Bar, which includes seasonal salads, soup, fresh vegetables, feijoada (traditional black bean stew with rice, fresh orange and yucca flour), and much more. Southern Brazilian side dishes such as pão de queijo (warm cheese bread), crispy hot polenta, and caramelized bananas are served family style. To further complement the dining experience, the restaurant offers an award-winning wine list, tempting dessert menu, and creative and classic cocktails. Guests can also choose between lighter seafood selections, or enjoy the gourmet Market Table only option.
Fogo welcomes families of all sizes to celebrate their mothers on May 8. All locations will extend their hours, opening all day with seatings from11:00am until 9:00pm. Meals for children six years of age and under are complimentary, and children seven to 12 years of age dine at half price for the Full Churrasco Experience. This is such a kind and generous deal and immediately stood out to me as a mother of young children. It makes Fogo de Chão a top choice for my family and I truly think that it's a great choice {for many reasons} for families of all sizes.
