Top 6 Fashionable Characters From Movies

Hollywood has been an important part of our culture. Films on the big screen have inspired many aspect of culture including popular fashion. Let’s take a look at six of the most fashionable characters.

Catherine Tramell, “Basic Instinct”
In this 1992 thriller, Catherine is portrayed by Sharon Stone. Her character’s wardrobe consists of minimalist styles. For instance, a popular scene from the film showed Catherine looking sexy in a white sleeveless turtleneck dress.

James Bond, “Skyfall”

The world’s greatest spy is also one of the world’s greatest men’s trendsetters. In this Bond film, he looks dapper in a blue tuxedo. Bond is normally seen looking good in casinos but we doubt he would wear his tuxedo if he was only playing online pokies on sites like casinoonline.co.nz. Since this film, the tuxedo has once again become a fashion favorite of men everywhere - from celebrities to your average male.

Carrie Bradshaw, “Sex and the City: The Movie”

The movie version of the long running television show didn’t miss a beat when showing the stylish side of Ms. Bradshaw. In the film, the opening scene has Carrie looking sharp in a one shoulder white dress embellished with an over sized flower. This dress was immediately copied by many ready to wear fashion houses.

Bruce Wayne, “The Dark Knight”
This character is well known for his assortment of suits. They range from his superhero costume to the classic Armani suits worn by his alter ego.

Django, “Django Unchained”
If you’ve been held prisoner for some time and get to choose what to wear upon your release, what would you choose? For Django a spiffy tailored suit in a bright royal blue fit the bill. Completing the look was a pair of glasses with circular frames.

Derek Zoolander, “Zoolander”
With a tongue and cheek look at the fashion industry, Zoolander seems to go overboard with his fashion choices. Donning outlandish looks that include head scarves and an updated leisure suit, Derek is a trendsetter in his own right.

The first Zoolander installment made this list but will the recently released second movie make it to the next list?
