Nubian Heritage Invites You to Find Your Om with the New Patchouli & Buriti Collection {First Impressions}

Say Namaste to a new bath and body collection that perfectly complements your quest for inner peace. Nubian Heritage, the beauty brand that incorporates global healing traditions with modern wellness solutions, introduces the Patchouli & Buriti Collection. {Product sent for review/feature consideration}

Sweet, spicy aphrodisiacal Patchouli essential oil is known in aromatherapy for its beneficial effect on oily or maturing skin and hair. Relaxing, uplifting and soothing to the senses, Patchouli complements the Amazonian beauty secret, Buriti oil. The Buriti palm, literally translated as “the tree of life,” has long been prized in the Amazon for its nutrient-rich fruit. Buriti Oil’s high Beta-carotene and Vitamin E content works with essential fatty acids to support the skin’s natural collagen production, and to hydrate and calm the skin.

The Patchouli & Buriti Collection includes: Bar Soap ($4.49), Body Wash ($11.99), Body Lotion ($11.99), Body Scrub ($12.99), Bath, Body & Massage Oil ($10.99), Hand Cream ($8.99) and Infused Body Butter ($12.99).

My first impression of the soap and butter are fairly simple: they both smell great - rich and earthy, with the Shea Butter smelling slightly sweeter. Knowing the efficacy of Nubian Heritage products from experience, I'm looking forward to seeing the anti-aging and collagen boosting effects of the soap on my skin and I can already tell you the butter not only instantly banishes all traces of ashiness, it works wonders on stubborn dry patches and scaly spots, and leaves even the roughest skin soft, supple, and beautifully fragranced. I'm so enamored with the subtly sexy scent, I'll be purchasing the massage oil as well!

The Shea Butter used in all Nubian Heritage products is ethically sourced from women’s co-ops in Northern Ghana. In addition, Nubian Heritage products are not tested on animals and do not contain parabens, sulfates, phthalates, paraffin, mineral oil, petroleum, DEA or artificial fragrance or coloring.

You can find the Patchouli & Buriti Collection, and many other Nubian Heritage products on VitaminShoppe.com, Pharmaca.com and select Whole Foods and Sprouts stores. Until next time...
