SheaMoisture African Black Soap Problem Skin Mask and Moisturizer

I suppose I should preface this post by saying that I have yet to try a product from SheaMoisture and its sister company, Nubian Heritage, that I have not LOVED! So this week I will be sharing a post daily highlighting a few of the products from the brand that I have had the pleasure of trying out lately! I'm going to start with a some of the stellar items from the African Black Soap Problem Skin line - namely the Facial Mask, Moisturizer, and Bar Soaps. {Products sent for review}

The African Black Soap Problem Skin Facial Mask 

SheaMoisture's African Black Soap Problem Skin Mask deeply cleanses by drawing out impurities and absorbing excess oil. It helps refine skin while addressing problems associated with acne. After use, skin feels clean and refreshed. It's made with natural and certified organic ingredients: in particular, African Black Soap {a natural remedy for blemished, troubled skin}, Tamarind Extract {a natural astringent which helps exfoliate and brighten skin}, and Tea Tree Oil {which promotes healing with naturally anti-septic properties}. If you have skin on your face, you NEED this mask. It smooths on like a thick lotion and doesn't dry, so you can wipe it clean with a cool wash cloth.

SheaMoisture's African Black Soap Problem Skin Moisturizer helps keep problem skin hydrated, while balancing oily and blemished complexions. It leaves a smooth, shine-free finish, and works superbly under make-up. It is made with the same natural and certified organic ingredients as the facial mask. As someone with oily skin, I was actually taken aback {and a bit wary} when I first saw the moisturizer - it is quite thick! I dismissed my reservations and applied it to my face {a little goes a long way} and was shocked and amazed at how well it absorbs into the skin and the incredible way it left my skin looking and feeling. Initially, I thought that I'd reserve this moisturizer for my night time routine, but it is SO GOOD that I use it twice a day.

I've also been using Nubian Heritage African Black Soap on my face, with spectacular results. I have not had a single breakout {except for the same pimple that pops up in the same spot every month when I'm PMSing} since I've started using it. Nubian Heritage adds the peel of plantains to their African Black Soap bars because the it helps to clarify skin and heal conditions like oily skin, eczema and psoriasis. I've enoyed using it so much, that it is officially an HG for me!
