Travel the World With Your Beauty Routine

Travel The World With Your Beauty Routine

Do the Olympics have you aching to journey to foreign lands? Even if you can't continent hop literally, you certainly can with your beauty routine! Let's go around the world AND look our personal best with these must-have beauty finds from GreeceFranceJapanUK, USA, and Finland. Dry skin, chapped lips, stubby lashes, dull complexion, and lack of beauty sleep don’t stand a chance with this Olympic beauty team. {Products sent for review/feature consideration}

Lumene Excellent Future Age Defying & Repairing Day Cream SPF 15 ($29.99 , CVS.com) Looking for a day cream that does it all? This it THAT cream for me! I prefer that my daytime moisturizer have SPF and this beauty fits the bill, then some!  This cream is enriched with Arctic Cloudberry & Apple Stem Cell Technologies which is designed to prevent, delay and even repair the signs of aging. Cloudberry Stem Cell Extract boosts skin's own collagen synthesis to help maintain youthful firmness making this cream a hard one to beat. But my favorite part - it feels rich and luxurious, but not heavy or greasy on my oily complexion.

Korres Greek Yoghurt Advanced Nourishing Sleeping Facial ($45, sephora.com) - Just like the Olympic athletes, you need your protein, too! This Greek Yoghurt provides a natural source of proteins, minerals, and vitamins to instantly nourish stressed, dry skin. An ultra hydrating facial-in-a-jar, this beauty must-have contains a Greek Yoghurt concentrate 2.5 times the protein content of regular yogurt, and works overnight to provide skin with intense, long-term moisturization and nourishment. You will wake up to noticeable improvements in skin texture and more moisturized, refreshed skin. This is an HG for me - one of the very few face products that I have actually finished {I used EVERY drip drop of goodness in the jar}, and will repurchase {though I really want to try the Wild Rose version too}. It's GOOD STUFF!

L’Occitane Ultra Soft Cream ($22, usa.loccitane.com) - L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Ultra Soft Cream in Zesty Lime {or Vanilla Bouquet or Rose Heart!} will help shield your skin during the winter months. The body cream simply melts into skin and smells wonderful. These Shea Butter Creams are packaged in colorful tins that bring a luxuriously bright splash of color to your day.

Sensai Cheek Blush in CH04 Kou ($45, bergdoffgoodmans.com) - Maintain a golden glow with this gem from the luxury Japanese brand. I love the natural and healthy glow this shade gives me, plus the powder is so finely milled and blends in like a dream. Even though it's labeled as a blush, the shade lends itself to be used like a bronzer as well, so sometimes I use it as blush on the apples of my cheeks, and sometimes I use it with a big fluffy brush to give my face a bit of all over glow.

Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Peony ($5, burtsbees.com and drugstores nationwide)These thin little tubes pack quite the punch, with their invigorating peppermint flavor and bright pop of shimmering color. Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer is also available in a wide range of 14 shades {Cocoa (NEW!), Champagne, Peony, Caramel, Apricot (NEW!), Grapefruit (NEW!), Strawberry, Guava, Watermelon, Rhubarb, Cherry, Raisin, Fig, Plum} and range from subtly sheer, to a surprising punch of pigment. Peony is my favorite, everyday, my-lips-but-better shade.  They also contain one of my favorite moisturizing ingredients, shea butter, as well as antioxidant-rich fruit oils to moisturize, nourish and soften lips.

Rimmel London ScandalEyes Retro Glam Mascara ($6.99, Drugstores and mass retailers nationwide) - Get the London look a with the new Rimmel London ScandalEyes Retro Glam Mascara. This mascara features an hourglass-shaped fiber brush with curves in all the right places, designed to the contour of your lash line to ensure that every last lash gets a pump of volume without any messy clumps. This is actually one of my favorite brush shapes - it makes it super easy to get the mascara on the hard to reach lashes in the inner corners of the eyes. The formula itself is great too; I usually stray away from volumizing mascaras {I prefer lengthening and curling ones}, but this one gives lush volume, without the clumps {just as it promises}!

Besides the ones mentioned here, I'm a HUGE fan of Le Couvent des Minimes {France}, Soap & Glory {UK}, and Amarte {Korea}. What are you're favorite beauty exports? My inquiring mind wants to know! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think! Until next time...
