Fab Five Fridays: Fragranced Body Lotions! (Plus Great Gift Ideas!)

I like to smell good and I hate to be ashy, so fragranced body lotions are among my favoritest beauty products! Lately, I've had the chance to try quite a few scented lotions and these are my favorites! {Products sent for consideration}

These five lotions made my list for various reasons, but all of them share a few traits: they are all wonderfully moisturizing and decadently scented. And that is pretty much where the similarities between them end. 

gud Mango Moonbreeze Body Lotion (available at Target stores and Target.com for $6.99) - I've shared my love for gud before, so it should be no surprise that I'm a fan of their latest scent, Mango Moonbreeze. Think tropical island getaway on a moonlit starry night - Mango Moonbreeze greets your senses as a bright, fruity floral but mellows out to a sweet powdery finish that lasts all day. Infused with all natural ingredients including lemon, bergamot, and plum the lotion itself is quick absorbing and wonderfully hydrating. Lulah Peony Body Lotion (available for purchase on Lulah.com for $13.25) - I first fell in love with their lovely hand lotions, but soon found out that Lulah is all good across the board! The Peony scent is quite pretty and delicate, while the (paraben free) lotion is light yet effective. The packaging is beautiful - I keep this bottle on my nightstand and use it on my limbs before bed. I love that it leaves me soft and smooth, but not sticky or greasy, and the scent is pleasant but not overpowering {a must for when I'm around my scent sensitive hubby}. (Gift suggestion: A coffret of these lovely lotions - available in Peony, Citron, Magnolia Fig, Vanilla Orchid, and Tamarind Ginger - would be the perfect gift for the hostess with the mostest, your boss or colleague, or MIL.)

Thymes Fig Leaf & Cassis Body Lotion (available exclusively on Thymes.com for $33) - I'm obsessed with all things Thymes - I love that they have a unique and luxurious lineup and scents and not only do they offer an excellent variety of bath and body products (body lotions, hand soaps, cologne, and etc.), they have a fantastic selection of home fragrances as well. Fig Leaf & Cassis is a sensually exotic fragrance that features verdant fig leaf, sweet cassis, mandarin oil, and juniper berry, and purifying cypress essence to add a hint of spice for an element of mystery. (Gift suggestion: Thymes has a lovely gift basket all packaged and ready to go featuring this sexy scent. Gift it to your newlywed bestie!)

Pacifica Hawaiian Ruby Guava Hand & Body Lotion Wipes (available at Target and target.com for $7) - Oh these wipes! What an innovative idea! These are perfect for throwing in  your purse, gym or diaper bag! They give you that perfect dose of moisture that's perfect for on the go and the scent is so bright, sunny, and citrusy - it's like sunshine in your hands. They are vegan and cruelty free and one of the main ingredients is coconut milk, so they're basically WINNNING! (Do people still say that?) (Gift suggestion: These wipes - also available in Tuscan Blood Orange and Indian Coconut Nectar scents- along with a coordinating body wash and gorgeous Coconut Kiss Creamy Lip Butter would make the perfect gift for the gym bunny in your life!)

L'Occitane Fleur D'Or & Acacia Body Milk (available at L'Occitane Boutiques and loccitane.com for $20) - This scent is part of the same La Collection de Grasse I posted about a bit back, and I honestly can't decide which scent I love more. Fleur D'Or & Acacia is a  sexy blend of floral notes - it is both bright and enticing. The milky formula is lighter than your traditional lotion, so I find it to be perfect for layering on top of oil after I shower. (Gift suggestion: L'Occitane has a pre-assembled gift set featuring the scent, or you can put together your own - throw in the body milk, candle, and lip gloss for a beautiful and thoughtful gift for a teacher, sister, or friend!)

So there you go! I'm not gonna lie, I have enough lotion to keep me moisturized through the next few winters...springs...summers...and falls, but these are definitely some of my high(er) end favorites.
