December 2013 Beauty Box Five "Unboxing"

It was my pleasure {and total surprise} to be invited to be an beauty contributor for Beauty Box Five, a beauty sample subscription service, based out of Austin, TX! The mission of BB5 is to introduce subscribers to new brands and products by delivering five carefully selected beauty products each month. Here's a peek at what came in my December box! {Box sent for review consideration}

The theme of this month's box is Naughty And Nice and it came packed with everything you need to have a "sweet holiday." My box contained: 

• Clean & Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Gel Moisturizer - I have oily skin so I'm really picky about my moisturizers. Because this one is oil-free, I'm super stoked to give it a try!
• Body Drench Daily Moisturizing Lotion in Sugar Cane - I received the Lip Drench lip balm from Body Drench in Mango in the November Beauty Box 5, so it's nice to try something else from the brand. Sugar Cane is not a scent I would normally pick for myself, but I really like it! And the lotion is pretty good too!
• Every Beauty Flexible Foot Smoother - I went to work with this Foot Smoother shortly after receiving my box - it was genius of them to include a product like this a winter box. I think we tend to neglect our feet when sandal season is over, but rusty crusty feet are NEVER a good look, no matter the season! 
• Ofra Cosmetics Sultry Lipgloss Plumper in Sultry - You can never have too much lipgloss and I love the size and color of this one from Ofra {it's the first product I've had from this brand, but it comes highly recommended from my blogger friends}.  
• NYX Cosmetics Love in Rio Eyeshadow Palette in Moonlit Skinny Dip - I love NYX Cosmetics; you get quality makeup at a great price point. The Love in Rio palette is perfect to toss in your purse and the shades I received are the perfect, everyday neutrals. 

Overall, I'm super pleased {and impressed} with this month's Beauty Box Five box! There is not an item in here that I will not use! I'm actually quite excited to see what's in store for the New Year from Beauty Box Five - and at $12 a box {or $30 quarterly or $99 for a year},  I think it's an excellent value! Until next time...
