Just in time for back to school, what better way to make bath time easy than giving your little products that are made uniquely for them {and so good, you'll want to use them too}! Lavanila Labs The Healthy Baby {products sent for review} line offers just that: gentle, all natural products, made especially for kids delicate skin.
We all know that I'm a huge fan of Lavanila Laboratories and it makes absolute sense that their kids line is fantastic, taking into consideration their philosophy of providing "healthy and luxurious beauty products, rich in natural and organic ingredients, free from harsh chemicals and clinically proven to be effective, safe and nourishing." Isn't that exactly what you want for your little ones? The Healthy Baby Butter ($14 from lavanila.com) is fantastic! Slightly lighter in consistency than the grownup version and very lightly scented with that delicate scent that we associate with babies, this formula is also quick absorbing {no more grease lightning babies}, but oh so moisturizing. This 100% natural body butter contains 30 essential vitamins and minerals that support the health and development of delicate baby skin. Pure Shea and Cocoa Butters blend with nourishing Calendula and Noni Juice for ultra-rich hydration that soothes redness and protects against dryness. Easily absorbed, it comforts and softens immediately.
The Healthy Baby Wash ($16 from lavanila.com) is the little bits favorite item in the bunch-they love the easy pump action and that it squirts out in a thick, luscious foam {they make foam mustaches, beards, and bikinis with it and then wash it off}. The tear-free, extra-gentle wash blends soothing Coconut & Vanilla Oil with nourishing Calendula & Noni Juice to cleanse and soften sensitive hair and body, and I love that it is so moisturizing, we can actually skip lotion on those occasions when the girls are just not in the mood for being still.
The Healthy Baby Lotion ($15 from lavanila.com) lives downstairs for easy access on the way out of the door. The formula is super lightweight, so it absorbs very quickly {so there's no slippery, sticky mess}, but it leaves the girls' skin looking and feeling so soft and smooth. The Healthy Baby Bottom ($10.79 from target.com) is something that my girls have grown out for the most part, but it does come in handy when Kenzie {who is in the process of potty training, but still wears diapers} is suffering from a bit of irritation or redness. I've actually had the product for a while, and it was my absolute go to when Kenzie was younger because it soothed and cleared all traces of irritation within hours.
Now you might be saying to yourself, "this is called Fab Five Friday, but I only see four products!" Well, that's true because apparently my fifth favorite is not readily accessible anymore, so I couldn't find a picture of it to include in the collage! It's a shame, because it ranks as my second favorite product in the bunch {after The Healthy Baby Butter; I LOVE that stuff}! It's The Healthy Baby Block SPF 40...
Look at all the Lavanila goodness! |
The Healthy Baby Block is my absolute favorite cream formula sun block for the girls, because it applies a lot like a moisturizer-it absorbs quickly and while it does leave a slight white cast, it's not nearly as bad as other similar formulas. It's totally non greasy and doesn't have the annoying cloying scent that some sunscreens come with. This chemical-free SPF 40 uses a new generation of mineral sunscreens for broad- spectrum UVA/UVB protection, while vitamin-rich Calendula & Noni Juice nourish & soothe. Not quite sure why it's no longer available, but I know I'll be using my precious little bottle down to the last drop!
If you haven't tried Lavanila out yet, you MUST run to Sephora-you can try a little sample before committing to purchasing {you know, if you can't just take my word on how FANTASTIC everything is}. Also, I was very pleased to find out {in the process of doing this post} that some select items from The Healthy Baby Line are actually available at target.com! So go get some!
