August 2013 Favorites-Mini Me Edition!

I talk a lot about my youngest daughters {probably because they are with me A LOT!!}, but I also have a 13 {!} year old daughter named Peyton. She's beautiful, smart, thoughtful, and oh so creative! She loves to read, music, beauty, and fashion - so she may not look a bit like me, but in a lot of ways, she really is a "mini" me {I put mini in quotes because at this point she's actually taller than me}! I thought it would be fun to let her be more involved with the blog {in hopes that will quench her desire to be active on social media outlets that I think she is SOOOO not ready for} by doing book and product reviews when appropriate and sharing her monthly favorites. So without further ado, here are Peyton's August favorites...

1-Secret Wonderland-from Bath & Body-works
Secret Wonderland in definitely in my top five of favorite scents. It smells exactly what I'd imagine a secret wonderland smells like. {purchased by mommy}

2-EOS Lip Balm in Pomegranate Raspberry
I usually keep this in my backpack and it's a life saver, and it smells really yummy. {purchased by mommy}

3-The Love Club EP-Lorde
If you haven't heard of Lorde already you need to look her up NOW. You might have heard her song Royals on the radio, if you like that song you'll LOVE the rest of the EP.

4-Neutrogena-Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub
This product has been around for quite a while now, but I'm just now getting around to trying it. Now that I've tried it, I'm wondering what took me so long! Since it is a foaming scrub, it's a different feeling from a regular scrub. Oh and the citrusy smell helps you wake up in the morning! {sent for review}

5-Pearl Earrings
I got my second ear lobe piercing near the end of July, so now I can finally take out the starter set and use my own earrings! I found the cutest pair at Forever 21, they're smaller than regular pearls, which is good. {purchased by me}

6-Yours Truly-Ariana Grande
Her album finally came out! It was well worth the wait. I don't even have a favorite song, because I love them all. I recommend this album to everyone-yes it's just that great.

7- Over-sized Knit Cardigans
The cardigan pictured isn't the exact one I have but it's pretty similar and they're both from Charlotte Russe. Anyway, I like wearing these over dresses and tank tops, not only for warmth {it's ALWAYS cold inside my school}, but for the whole layered look. It brings any outfit together instantly. {purchased by my dad}
