CGC for the Mini Me's: Tangled Tantrum

I learned of Tangled Tantrum via Instagram, and as the mommy of two curly girls, I was immediately intrigued. I reached out to the brand and was very happy that we agreed that, a) my girls are too cute, and b) we needed to try the products out on their curls!

First off, here's a little background on the brand {which is a big part of the reason I knew I wanted to work with them}:

I love to work with small companies, especially those run by mothers/women. Because Tangled Tantrum was created from a mommy's point of view and with her childrens' needs in mind, I feel comfortable using it for my own kids. Another bonus with Tangled Tantrum-a portion of the proceeds are donated to non-profit organizations that provide hair pieces to children suffering from medical hair loss.

We had the opportunity to try the Detangling & Conditioning Spray for Girls {there's a different one for boys} and the Chaos Control Smoothing Serum {sent for review} and I can tell you that they are now two products that we will not go without! Yes, they have reached HG status-up there with Kinky-Curly's Curling Custard and Shea Moisture's Organic Coconut and Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie. 

I love that the girls immediately wanted to try the products because of the adorable packaging-usually they are totally resistant to getting their hair done {and I almost don't blame them because of their heads full of curls; it's not exactly an easy task for me either}. Off the bat, I also really appreciated that the spray and serum are paraben free {as are all Tangled Tantrum products}. The Detangling & Conditioning Spray for Girls smells like a day at the beach, coconuts,sunscreen, and everything that awesome about summer; we're all fans of that! But the best thing about it is that it really works: it literally cut the time it takes to detangle Lo's thick curls in half AND for the first time EVER she did not cry at all during the process {don't judge me-she's a drama queen}. For that reason alone, I will ALWAYS use the spray when doing Lo's hair. The Chaos Control Smoothing Serum is a frizz-fighting, keratin infused serum that added such beautiful shine and bounce to the girls' curls. When we use it after washing their hair, we are guaranteed great 2nd and even 3rd day hair with minimal fuss {which is a huge plus now that we're all getting up so early to get ready for school}.
