This defining spray is meant to bring out the tousled, textured look you get after swimming in the sea.
It contains a ProMineral complex of 26 minerals from Dead Sea Salt, so that your hair feels soft to touch but has added bounce, definition and body. Plus the added sunflower extract helps to give moisture and shine to your hair. You can use it on wet or dry hair.
As someone with naturally curly hair, I usually don't look for products to add texture, as most of the time I'm trying to control the texture that's already there. But, I have been feeling a little hair envy for the "big hair, don't care" images I've been seeing, so I thought I would give this product a go! After combing out my curls while dry, I put my hair into two French braids and left them over night. The next day after I took the loose, I sprayed the Sea Salt Spray generously and all over. Big hair indeed!
While I did like the look that I was able to achieve with the spray, and am willing to try it again {but I think next time I'll try it on wet hair and then maybe again on straightened hair}, I did not like the way that it made my hair feel sticky {I cringed at the thought of having to comb through my tresses at the end of the night}, and the smell was not exactly appealing to me {it wasn't bad, just not something I particularly enjoyed}. That being said, as I mentioned before, I am interested in trying Lee Stafford Beach Babe Sea Salt Spray again, under different circumstances, so maybe I'll find better success with it next time!
Until next time...
