I'm trying so hard to be healthy {and lose weight} and part of that has been exercising regularly. I feel so much better now that I'm doing it: more energized, confident, and happy. But my activity {especially the running I've been motivated to do} is taking its toll on my feet and muscles.
I've had the pleasure of trying out a few products from Champneys in the past {you can read my reviews here and here}. Obviously I was impressed with them, so of course I had to share these pampering goodies with you!
Experts say that keeping your heart and lungs strong will add years to your life, and provide energy throughout the years. Running is one of the simplest ways to increase the flow of oxygen to these organs, while boosting your mood and releasing natural hormones. After all that running, whether you’re a beginner exploring new ground {like me} or a pro with an established daily routine, your feet and body need a break. Relax and soothe your rough and overworked skin with calming Champneys products, while soothing your sore and irritated skin. Leave your body feeling refreshed and renewed, and ready to get on with your workout routine with ease.
Champneys Spa Treatments Foot Scrub (MSRP $7.99) - This intensively rich, nourishing foot butter blends shea butter, Vitamin E and energizing peppermint and orange essential oils, to leave tired feet feeling soothed and soft. Therapist Massage Tip: Take your time to massage both feet, paying careful attention to heels and soles, pressing in circular motions at least six times, to rejuvenate your tired tootsies.
Champneys Spa Treatment Foot Butter (MSRP $8.99) - (I was sent this delight for the purpose of review) A skin-conditioning blend of olive butter with tea tree, peppermint and orange oils is designed to gently exfoliate, smooth and condition dry, rough or hard skin on the feet while leaving them re-energized and smelling fresh. Therapist Massage Tip: Champneys experts say to lather on the moisturizer, and then wrap a towel around your feet or put socks on to lock in moisture and heat, then lie back and elevate your feet, for the ultimate relaxation technique.
Champneys Spa Indulgence Exotic Retreat Bubble Heaven (MSRP $12.99) - This indulgent pampering bathing elixir contains sensuous ylang-ylang and coconut milk to moisturize and papaya to soften and smooth skin, while the tropical bubbles transform your bathroom into the ultimate spa paradise. Therapist Fun Fact: Champney experts say a warm bath triggers a reflex reaction that actually causes your body to try to cool itself down in response to heat, which will then help you sleep shortly after.
I absolutely LOVE the Foot Butter and it is a part of my regular night time routine now {after I shower, I slather it on my feet and then cover them with my Heat Holder socks} and my feet are grateful! I love to wear sandals and with this routine, I've been able to keep my feet in tiptop shape, and they are far less achy than before. Have you tried Champneys? What's your preferred method to soothe and relieve your sore feet and tired muscles after a strenuous workout? My inquiring mind wants to know! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think. Until next time...
Foot butters and foot creams are absolute essentials for me as I spend a lot of time on my feet. :) I hope Canada's Target stores get this line.
