NCLA Sweet Revenge Collection: Sugar Fix

Disclaimer: I am not a nail blogger or professional (so sometimes I color outside of the lines and my cuticles look a bit ragged). I am merely a girl who LOVES nail polish!

Sorry for the flash; this was the only way I could capture the polish on my nails true to life...

NCLA's latest collection, Sweet Revenge, is inspired by a day at the carnival. This lacquer is called Sugar Fix {sent for review}and is truly unlike anything I have in my collection.

Sugar Fix is described as a "light grey lacquer with fuchsia and electric blue glitter." The beautiful grey base is a jelly creme and is super buildable. I've tried it over another grey/white shade (NCLA's Downtown Dollface-a light grey creme), but the picture above is 3 coats of Sugar Fix on its own {and I think this is how I like it best}. There is a mix of medium sized electric blue and fuchsia hex glitter pieces, as well as tiny square shaped fuchsia glitters. It was quite easy to work with and each coat applied smoothly {I opted to use three coats to get full opacity}

All NCLA lacquers are five free: never tested on animals, free of formaldehyde, DBP, Camphor, and Toluene. They retail for $16 a piece and are available at shopncla.com.

Stay tuned for the other two shades in this collection, Mostly Sunny With a Chance of Sprinkles and Not So Sweet. Until next time...
