Fab Five Fridays: Mama Mio Favorites

Though I have a real interest in taking care of the skin on my face, honestly I tend to neglect the rest of my body. Don't get me wrong, I make sure I'm clean and moisturized all over, but I pretty much tend to the basics when it comes to the skin that's not on my face. I think it may be because carrying 3 babies was not exactly kind to my skin and I feel that topical measures won't really do much to improve it's state so I've just given up. Lately my overall attitude about health, fitness and maintenance has improved for the better, including a more intensive look at how I take care of myself from head to toe, inside and out. Just in time for my "system overhaul" I got the opportunity to try some specially targeted body products from the international skincare brand, Mama Mio. I already have a great impression of the brand based on their Eye Know Eye Serum {which I reviewed here}, but these products have giving me even more reason to love the brand {and my body}!

ZAP Skin Tight Toning Serum (MSRP $56) - A completely innovative bodycare serum; Skin Tight takes facial peel technology and applies it to the body. This serum’s four stage action of exfoliation, skin tightening and massively nourishing moisturization will combat crepey, loose, tired skin – anywhere you need it! I have to say, the best thing about Skin Tight is the difference it makes to the surface texture of your skin. I'm not gonna lie, my stomach is a bit of a train wreck after stretching to house 3 babies, and my fluctuating weight throughout the years in between hasn't help the situation either. But I'm already seeing an improvement after regularly using Skin Tight. 

Clean Slate High Protein Aloe-rich Cleanser (MSRP $32) - This aloe-based cleanser is perfect for rejuvenating the skin. Mama Mio's oh-so-gentle soap and sulphate-free cleansing gel cleans deeply and effectively without leaving skin feeling tight, while firming, balancing and moisturizing the skin . It's formulated with eco-certified cleansers set in organic Aloe leaf juice, preprobiotics, firming proteins and moisturizing omegas to gently remove makeup {hello one less step!} and impurities without over-drying, unbalancing or irritating skin. And did I mention that it smells FANTABULOUS?!?

The pure, creamy, melt-in-your-skin butter and rich oil are designed to increase skin elasticity and lock in moisture while nourishing deep down.
