Add it to the list of products I'm obsessed with (and thus, sort of excessively hoard)- I love lip balms. Literally have a drawer full of them. I feel like I'm always on the hunt for the holy grail balm, and while a few have come close (Nivea's Mint and Minerals and eos Spheres come to mind), I have yet to find one that takes the cake.
Recently I've had the chance to try some new to me lip balms from Sun Bum. Sun Bum, which originated in Cocoa Beach, Florida has some seriously delicious lip balm with SPF 30 created by and for those who play hard in the sun (and I suppose a home body like me as well).
Sun Bum believes quality, safety, and performance are the keys to getting more people to use sunscreen. Banana is a staple flavor in the line up and I have to admit, I was instantly smitten by the utterly nostalgic scent and taste of it. I also got to try the Pink Guava flavor, which is equally as yummy: bright, fresh, sweet, and slightly citrusy. Other than the absolutely addicting scent and flavor of these adorably packaged balms, I really love that they each have SPF 30+ sunscreen and added Aloe and Vitamin E. The formula is non greasy and not shiny (so it's perfect for the guys too). It's not particularly thick and absorbs quite easily, so I prefer to use it under lipsticks (especially matte ones) to ensure that my lips stay smooth and hydrated.
