Stay Glossy with Rimmel London!

Full Disclosure: The names of the glosses must've been on the protective plastic wrapping, because it is not anywhere on the actual product, so I'm actually making an educated guess on the names based off of what I found on the Rimmel London website...

Back to your regularly scheduled post: 

I'm not even going to say that I'm obsessed with lip gloss (though I am) because in all honesty, I think I'm pretty much obsessed with everything! That being the case, I really appreciate brands like Rimmel London that allow me to appease my want for makeup with quality products that don't break the bank. Case in point: the Stay Glossy lip glosses that offer 24 uber wearable shades, that offer up to 6 hours of glossy wear (sort of; I got 3-4 hours of wear depending on what I was doing), and a bit of moisture while you're at it-all for around $5!

The formula is not at all sticky (a major plus) and applies smooth and evenly in one pass. There's a slight scent, but no taste to the gloss and it comes with a soft, flat doe foot applicator. The shades go from medium coverage, semi-sheer, to sheer and three of the four shades I tried had micro glitter. 

Captivate Me is a bright, apple red with fuchsia micro glitter. It's a beautiful, juicy pop of color and it gave me medium coverage. 

Eternal Flirt  is a semi sheer, medium, blue-based pink with a tiny bit of silver micro glitter throughout. It's one of those easy to wear shades that you can apply with no mirror in a rush, or if you are looking for a slight wash of natural looking color. 

My Eternity  is a gorgeous neutral, nudey shade, also with silver micro glitter (but it's more evident here than in Eternal Flirt). As you can see in the photo with the flash, it skews sort of purpley in certain light. 

Seduce Me is your basic clear gloss. There's no shimmer at all, but it gives your lips a beautiful (not tacky) shine. It's perfect on its own, but is great to layer over any of your favorite lipstick for added impact.

I think these are the perfect glosses for date night; you can have a pretty wash of color without worrying about leaving a sticky mess on your honey if you get amorous (trust me, he'll thank you for it)! Rimmel London Stay Glossy lip gloss is available at most mass market and drugstores and retails for around $5.
