"Love Yourself Love Your Skin" with Amarte Skin Care!

Amarte Cosmetics started as a skin care initiative within a Korean dermatology clinic in 1994. One of the clinic’s nursing staff members developed an exceptional interest and ability in producing inspired skin care products to address patient concerns and beauty interests. Over the years these efforts became increasingly sophisticated and expansive with resoundingly positive feedback from patients and the dermatology community at large.

The Heart and Seoul Collection (MSRP $185)

The Amarte skin care regimen is flexible. Conceptually, the Amarte skin care regimen consists of four distinct but overlapping components: cleansing, moisturization, rejuvenation and protection. Cleansing is the first and most fundamental component of all skin care regimens. Cleansing is designed to remove both environmental residue and skin debris comprised of exfoliated skin cells and oil. Optimal cleansing and exfoliation maintain skin integrity and skin barrier function. Cleansing at its finest elevates this process to an art form. Amarte products go one step beyond by adding rejuvenative brightening to the cleansing experience

I got a chance to sample a few items from the line and these were the standouts for me:

Daily ExfoliPowder is a plant seed-based exfoliant powder that you mix with water (or cleanser for an added boost) that removes dry skin to reveal the smooth, radiant skin underneath. I love that it is delicate enough to use everyday if you want (though I stick to every other night).

MSRP $60 for 2.8 oz

Wonder Cream uses an ActivElements®  complex to defend your skin from environmental elements while working to lighten hyperpigmentaion, freckles, and sunspots.  This luxe cream also works to gently exfoliate your skin-I noticed a brighter complexion after two days of use!

MSRP $110 for 2.7 fl. oz

Eyeconic Eye Cream is an "anti-wrinkle rejuvenator" that delivers "high levels of enhanced-stability pure retinol with nano-encapsulated epidermal growth factor." I'm not going to pretend like I know what all of that means, but I do know that it feels rich and nourishing when I put it on my eyes, soaks into the delicate skin in my eye area quickly, and does not irritate my eyes at all. Though my eyes are not a problem area for me (yet) I have noticed a difference in the appearance of my undereye area since I've started using the cream.

MSRP $80 for 0.7 fl.oz.

Obviously, quality skin care innovation like this is not going to come cheap! But, I think that it is worth it. I think the best route is to try the introductory Heart & Seoul Collection (as pictured above). It includes the Daily Wonder Cleansing Foam, Aqua Veil Hydrator, HydroLiftCream, Eyeconic Eye Cream and two shades of Natural Finish BB Cream for $185. I'm all about finding a bargain and saving money where you can, but sometimes we have to splurge on ourselves, and I think skin care is one of the best ways to do that! Until next time...
