L’Occitane’s NEW Immortelle Brightening Mist AKA: A Preview

I don't know if I've shared this with you lovelies yet, but I sort of LOATHE the winter time. I mean like most things, the season has its ups and downs. I suppose snow is pretty, and a little nip in the air is nice when you have a cozy fire, a warm cup of something yummy, and a special someone to cuddle up with. But damp air (that's not full of salty ocean and sunshine) and grey skies are not the business. That's just my two cents. So saying that I'm looking forward to the spring would be a huge understatement.

There's no time like the present to start prepping for the beautiful spring days that I long for. Other than transitioning my closet from my winter wardrobe over to my lighter, happier, vastly more flattering spring wardrobe, I'm also making adjustments to my skincare regime. I figure that if I start to make some small, gradual tweaks to it early, maybe I won't suffer the chaos that usually occurs when the seasons change.
Right in time for this adjustment in my skin care lineup, I received this lovely package from L'OccitaneL’Occitane has extended its Immortelle Brightening range (which already includes some of the most advanced anti-aging creams) with a new product, formulated with the same rigour and exacting standards the brand is well known for.

The NEW Immortelle Brightening Mist is an alcohol-free mist that refreshes, softens and brightens the complexion. Also perfect for spraying over make-up to help it stay fixed all day! It combines the unique properties of Immortelle essential oil with Bellis Perennis to keep skin young-looking, radiant and even-toned. The Immortelle breathes youth visibly into the skin, helping to correct wrinkles while the Bellis Perennis acts to help visibly reduce the appearance of pigmentation marks.

I've just begun my test run of the product and am still in the process of figuring out the best way to incorporate it into my routine: as my daytime toner, to set my makeup, or as a nighttime treatment (especially since the reduction of pigmentation marks is the component of the mist that I'm most interested in seeing). I'll be sure to do a follow up post to let you know how the product works, as well as how I chose to utilize it. Until next time...
