Blended Cutie Silky Swirls Shampoo AKA: A Curly Girl Chronicle

Blended Cutie Silky Swirls Shampoo (MSRP $18.50 for 8 fl. oz.) is from the kid's line offered by Blended Beauty, a Canadian based company that makes 98-99% natural hair care products made especially to suit the needs of those with " dry, wavy, curly, kinky, and relaxed or heat-straightened hair."

Product Description: A luxurious and gentle cleanser that rinses silky smooth, and leaves hair conditioned and soft to the touch. The smoothing effect of the natural conditioners prepares the hair for the Tug Me Not Conditioner, creating added ease of combing and styling. pH balanced for tender scalps and gentle enough to use every day and on little swimmers!

Ingredients: Aqua (enriched with/enrichi avec Aloe Barbadensis), Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Distillate, Glycerin, Capryl Isostearate, Fragrance, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Lecithin, Cetyl Esters, Propylene Glycol (and) Diazolidinyl Urea (and) Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Hydrolyzed Corn Protein (and) Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein (and) Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Silk Powder, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein.

My Take: First off, I absolutely love that it is packaged with a pump (makes it so much easier when washing wiggly little ones), but the pump on my bottle was actually defective (womp womp). This is actually one of my favorite products that I've tried for the girls in a while (and the SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner), so it gets my highest rating (ie: I will reuse AND repurchase). I used this for Kenzie's 3a/b hair and it worked fantastically! It washed all product build up from her hair and scalp with one application and rinsed totally clean. Even more amazing, she did not have the patience to go through a rinse out conditioner, and I had not detangled her hair pre poo, but after using this luscious shampoo, her hair was soft, it was easy to detangle, and her curl pattern was well defined. I will definitely be using this for her from now on (especially since it basically worked as a shampoo and conditioner so I can skip that step, huzzah!) and I will be repurchasing! A must have for little curly ones!

Kenzie's pretty little curls after washing with Blended Cutie Silky Swirls Shampoo and detangling. No other products were used :)
Until next time...
