Everybody Loves a Winner! AKA: My Win from The Organized Parent and Cid Pear

If you know me IRL, you know that I have had a life long obsession with pens and paper. I can't really explain it, other than perhaps it's the writer in me-I'm so paranoid that the perfect line/thought will come to me and I will not have pen and paper on hand to write it down. And even in this age of technology, where just about everything can be accomplished via your handy dandy smart phone (I heart you iPhone 5), for me there is nothing that compares to the satisfaction of exorcising my thoughts by putting pen to paper. So I collect. And collect. One of the subcategories of paper that I collect (because each notebook/pad/etc. is meant for totally unique purposes) are organizers and pads for lists. In that vein, I recently had the pleasure of winning a giveaway from The Organized Parent (one of my favorite organizational sites) that included one of the most awesomest (yeah I said "awesomest") prizes ever!

So I won the beautiful Desk Canvas by Cid Pear (in Parrot, MSRP $23.95) and the Journal Set Stacked 3 pk by Cid Pear (in Tapestry, MSRP $21.95) and I am beyond in love; especially with the Desk Canvas...

I'm literally counting down the days until the 1st so that I can start using this baby! It is so pretty (there's pink and shoes and paper!) and there's space for me to make lists, post ideas, and arrivals, etc. This in conjunction with two, I mean three, other planners, should ensure that I keep up with my ambitious plans for this blog, my family's schedule, and maybe even keep my house clean (well as clean as Hurricane Kenzie will allow). Plus it's GORGEOUS to look at!
