White Sands Orchid Bliss Shampoo and Conditioner

I miss warm weather. Dearly. So while I usually prefer to adjust my fragrance selections to match the seasons (more fruity, floral, citrus scents in the spring and summer and musks, orientals, and woodsy scents in the fall and winter)-when I'm missing the sun, I sometimes try to trick my senses in to thinking that it's warm out by using products with scents that are more... "tropically oriented." Enter White Sands Orchid Bliss Revitalizing Shampoo and Conditioner...

According to the White Sands website:

Orchid Bliss leaves the hair strands in perfect moisture balance, it closes the cuticle layer and eliminates frizz to work in conjunction with other styling products to improve texture, repel moisture, while enhancing vibrant color. The orchid complex fills in the cracks and imperfections in each hair strand giving a high shine and making hair brilliant. You will be amazed with Orchid Bliss as it transforms this cosmopolitan treasure into a unique beauty ingredient.

Though not specifically made for curly hair, White Sands Orchid Bliss Revitalizing Shampoo and Conditioner were formulated with all natural extracts from the orchid flower to be super gentle to strands of all types and textures, even color treated hair. The shampoo is sulfate free and both the shampoo and conditioner contain anti aging properties that can protect and repair even the most damaged hair (apparently orchid blooms are well known for their moisturizing and anti aging properties). They work to infuse hair with moisture, shine, body with a unique combination of orchid extract paired with natural ingredients like grape seed oil, carrot seed and apricot kernel for split end mending, color preservation & texture restoration.

The natural ingredients in White Sands Orchid Bliss Revitalizing Shampoo (MSRP $19.50) help to fight damaging free radicals, balance your hairs natural moisture levels and recover from damaging chemical treatments. I love the slightly exotic, floral scent of the shampoo (and conditioner) and the shampoo does not leave my hair feeling dry and stripped, just clean.

The White Sands Orchid Bliss Revitalizing Conditioner (MSRP $20.50) is awesome! It has enough slip for me to detangle my curls, but does not leave my hair feeling weighed down or heavy. I sometimes use it before the shampoo to detangle first and let it soak into my strands before I use the shampoo then use it as directed after shampooing. My curls are left soft, shiny, and bouncy, and if I want to skip extra products, I can after using this method.

Both the shampoo and conditioner are available online on  White Sands' website or at fine salons.
