Rose Byrne's Gorgeous, Glamorous Waves-AKA: Get the Look With John Frieda

Rose Byrne at the Lucky Magazine soiree

When I originally saw this press release, I hesitated a bit trying to determine whether or not to share it, since I recently did a celebrity/John Frieda look post featuring Zoe Saldana. But then realized that the same products were used for both looks and I love how that just goes to show the versatility of John Frieda's awesome products. So if you'd like to achieve Rose Byrne's gorgeous, old Hollywood waves, here are step by step instructions:

In celebration of New York Fashion Week, Rose Byrne attended Lucky Magazine’s party aboard the “M/Y Emelina” at the Marina at Chelsea Piers. John Frieda® International Creative Consultant Harry Josh gave Rose a yacht-worthy look – big, frizz-free glamorous waves.

To achieve this look at home:

First apply John Frieda® Frizz-Ease® Curl Reviver Styling Mousse evenly through towel-dried hair and brush to uniformly distribute product. This non-sticky, alcohol-free formula tames frizz, boosts shine and restores bounce to tired waves.

Next blow dry hair completely. Once dry, in small sections wrap hair vertically around a 1-inch curling iron (like John Frieda's 1" Tight Curls Curling Iron) like a tinsel and curl the hair away from the face – from the root to the ends. Break up the curls by running your fingers through them.

To finish and set the look, mist hair with Frizz-Ease® Moisture Barrier Firm-Hold Hair Spray. It’s a fast-drying, shine boosting formula that lasts long and creates an instant barrier to help seal out humidity and combat frizz, rain or shine.

See, recreating these red carpet looks is not only easy peasy, it's gentle on the wallet too! Will you be attempting this style or Zoe's? My inquiring mind wants to know! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think. Until next time...
