Bath and Body Works Signature Collection Wallflowers® Fragrance Bulb in Paris Amour ($6.50) - I have this in my bedroom and every time I smell it, it's like getting a little whiff of happiness. Described as a "sweet, romantic fusion of sparkling raspberry, French tulips and apple blossom layered with notes of pink champagne," I don't particularly care for the fragrance on my skin (as I disclosed here), but it smells fantabulous in this form! I'm on a mission to get it in 3-Wick Candle form as well...
Speaking of fragrance (and Bath and Body Works), I'm really enjoying the Signature Collection Shower Gel in Paris Nights, that I picked up at the Welcome to Paris Event a while back.

I scored this sexy scent for free (it retails for $11.00) at the event and since it was a bonus buy, I didn't follow my normal habit and get the entire set (I'm sort of obsessive about getting the shower gel, body lotion, and fragrance mist when I like a fragrance). Now I'm just hoping that BBW runs their buy 3 get 3 free promo before they take this limited edition treat off the shelves. The scent is described as "a seductive blend of French jasmine, clementine and cabernet musk, inspired by a dazzling night in the City of Lights." They hit the nail on the head by calling it seductive; it's definitely a scent to pull out for date night with your someone special...
The eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner ($15) came my way via my June Birchbox. Already a smash hit in its home base of UK, the brand is relatively new to the US market. I hesitated using it, as I tend to dislike felt tip applicators. It literally sat on my night side table for at least a month before I was sort of forced to try it (one of the lil bits had temporarily misplaced my usual liner, I was in a hurry, and it was within arm's reach). It takes a bit more finesse and maneuvering to get my line exactly as I like it, but the unique shape of the felt tip and its superb formula and finish have made it a fast favorite for me. I find that with this pen, I am more likely to experiment with the thickness and shape of my standard cat eye line.
I generally lean towards a more dramatic eye and simple lip, so I have accumulated a large amount of sheer glosses in shades that merely enhance my natural lip color (especially since I never remember to reapply as the day goes on). I've been trying to branch out and try some new things (the Revlon Lip Butters in Red Velvet and Lollipop, and MAC Lipglass in Rebel and Girl About Town, worked wonders to change my views on bold lips). Recently I tried the Josie Maran Magic Marker Lip & Cheek Stain in Foxtrot ($19 at Sephora), and was immediately smitten. Not only is the color absolutely gorgeous, the formula of this long-wearing natural lip and cheek stain has a blend of hyaluronic acid and sugar extracts to smooth and plump lips for a truly sexy pout. I opted to top it off with a bit of clear gloss (I used Bobbi Brown Crystal Lip Gloss), but even long after the gloss faded, the Magic Marker left my lips with a beautiful wash of color (yay, for not having to even think about retouching your lips!).
Speaking of Bobbi Brown, if you've ever had a hard time applying mascara to your bottom lashes, the itty bitty ones near the inner corner of your eyes, or would just like a mascara that grabs, defines and lengthens EVERY SINGLE ONE of your lashes, I HIGHLY recommend the Bobbi Brown Intensifying Long Wear Mascara ($24 at Bloomingdale's)...
The teeny tiny, thin applicator is perfect for finding and accentuating lashes you never knew you even had! Honestly, prior to trying this wonder, I thought that applying mascara to my lower lashes was pointless because all I ever did was make a mess. Now I consider this an HG product-I use it solely on my lower lashes with unbelievable results and no mess to boot! Not only is the brush magical, the formula itself is actually Bobbi Brown's longest-lasting mascara and can stand up to the elements (and even a few tears) for up to 16 hours. But the feature that truly won my heart are the unique bristles, designed to instantly build lashes without clumping. AND unlike other waterproof, long lasting mascaras (including my beloved L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black) that seem to linger on the lashes despite your most tenacious efforts at removing-there's no need for an eye makeup remover with this, because Intensifying Long Wear Mascara washes off effortlessly with warm water.
Last, but most definitely not least, is this jaw droppingly beautiful lacquer from butter LONDON. I was able to score this seemingly unassuming shade (and two other shades and a top coat) from a preview of the brand new online beauty site Coterie. All Hail the Queen is touted as a neutral nude, opaque beige with tiny holographic glitter sparkling throughout. Please take my word for it, no picture can do it justice. Even seeing it in the bottle can not fully communicate it's intricate beauty. You have to apply two thin coats to your tips to experience it's true majesty.
Seriously, I could go on, but I'll leave you lovelies with just these goodies to marinate on for now. Have you tried any of my current faves? What is on your must have list right now? Are you adding any of my picks to your shopping list? My inquiring mind wants to know! Leave a comment below and let me know what you think. Until next time...
