It's no secret that I am a HUGE fan of Julep and the Julep Maven program. How could you not love a monthly subscription service that feeds your nail polish obsession? So I can't even describe how excited I am to be a part of their VIP Blogger program and to have the chance to share the perks of it with you lovelies!
For a change of pace, I decided to try out the Bombshell Introductory box. I received The Best Pedi Creme Ever (and I will admit, it is pretty darn awesome), some toe separators (and in all honesty, I never really use these, but my oldest daughter loves using them when she does her toes), and Natasha (an intense orange cream), and Oscar (a multi dimensional gold glitter). This combination was PERFECT for me! I love to pair an eye catching shade in a cream finish on my fingernails along with copious layers of glitter on my accent nails. Here is the manicure I did using both Natasha and Oscar...
Now for the super good news! Not only do I have a special code from Julep so that you can try out your first box for ONE CENT (yes, one penny!), Julep is also giving away a box to one of you lovelies! Here's the special promo code to get a box for a penny: MAVENINTRO and for your chance to WIN a box, just fill out the Rafflecopter widget below!

PS-I did receive a complimentary Bombshell Introductory Box to review. I was not paid for this post and all opinions stated are 100% honest and my own :)
Thank you for the giveaway! I LOVE the Julep Maven boxes. I can't afford them month-to-month, but a friend of mine occasionally sends me one of hers.
ReplyDeleteI also signed up for a single month with a different code ( "color2012" and "penny" will also drop your box price to a penny) and oooh I love the pedi creme.
One thing I've noticed, that I think people should be aware of (you might want to put it in your post?) is that some credit card companies have trouble with a single penny transaction, and pay a dollar instead. I know Visa just charges a penny, and I've heard Mastercard charges a dollar.
Thanks so much for the credit card tip! I've always used the same card so I was unaware of the difference between the different companies. I'm glad that you've been able to take advantage of the deals that Julep offers; it is such an awesome deal for a spectacular product!
DeleteThanks for that credit card info calligraphiti. Now I know what to use when I sign up @ Julep!
ReplyDeleteI just remembered.... I love love love shopping for beauty stuff on QVC. Great prices, trendy stuff and all that jazz. For July 4th, Julep made there debut on QVC with two polishes that were beautiful. The one I ordered was the glittery red, white, and blue with little stars in the glitter. This was my first polish with Julep and I really liked the color and got lots of compliments but the only negative I have is that it was super hard to remove the glitter polish from my nails, has anyone had this problem? I was picking glitter out of my cuticles for days. I made sure to apply a good basecoat first and afterwards I applied a topcoat as well.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE glitter polishes but after having that issue with Julep polish I'm scared to try anymore glitter polishes. Any help would be appreciated. :)
I received that same polish in my July box-I think it's called America the Beautiful or something like that. I love glitter polishes and use them in just about every mani/pedi I do. Sometimes they are a bit difficult to remove, so I use a base coat and sometimes a nude or sheer polish then the glitter and then a top coat. Also, it helps to use an acetone remover and make sure to hold the cotton round/ball/pad on your nail for a while before you rub the polish off. I hope this helps!
