My Straight Hair Dream Team from Flat Iron Experts

In this month's Texture Perspective segment on NaturallyCurly.com, straightening is the topic of discussion. For me, I have evolved from the old hot comb, through several different flat irons, to the gem that I use now, courtesy of Flat Iron Experts.

Honestly, I love wearing my hair straight (not as much as I love it curly), but one of the reasons I don't straighten it often is the amount of time it takes to do it. Turns out, one of the reasons it was taking me up to two and half hours just to straighten it was because I wasn't using the right tools. It took me less than an hour to get my hair straight when I used the KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron (1 Inch). 

I was shocked at how easy and quick it was to get my hair super sleek when using this flat iron. And I can use it to get the prettiest beachy waves! I also think that part of the reason it was so much easier to straighten my hair was this handy dandy invention...

I felt like a legit pro every time I put the iron into the KQC Iron Holder! It kept the iron at reach, the cord untangled, and just overall made the straightening experience less of a hassle. 

Using a good heat protectant is a MUST, and KQC Thermal Shine Spray was a bit of a game changer for me. Since I don't blow dry my hair, I usually add heat protectant while my hair is dry, right before I start to straighten it. Often times, whatever product I used basically made my hair wet, and so I had to wait for it completely dry again, prolonging the whole process. Not only do I not have this issue with the KQC Thermal Shine Spray, it's ion enriched polishing complex is formulated for superior heat protection and  adds an ultra gloss shine to my hair. It is so lightweight and not at all greasy. The micro mist spray also eliminates frizz, softens and polishes hair without build up.

I also love that I can curl my hair with it, so that cuts out the need for any additional heat tools (though I am starting to get curious about curling wands and the like).
