Who Knew I'd Never Leave the House Without My Avon?!?

It's true! Avon has made one of the most beautiful, versatile, and useful compacts I've ever owned: the True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Nocturnal (Q907)...

I would love to say that I always leave the house perfectly coiffed and made up flawlessly, but let's be real-I'm a busy mom of 3 (2 under the age of 5) and the majority of prep time before we go out is spent getting my girls ready. So I love that when I don't have enough time to get all of my makeup on, I can reach for this compact in the car (don't worry, I'm usually a passenger; safety first!) and get a variety of gorgeous eye looks! 

Suede and Tempted are matte shades: Suede is the perfect all over and transition color for me, while Tempted looks beautiful as a highlight under the brow and in the inner eye/tear duct. Nocturnal and Celadon have just a scant amount of shimmer: I use Nocturnal in the crease and Celadon is gorgeous smudged close to the lash lines. All four shades are wonderfully pigmented and buildable to your desired level of color. 

Another reason why I keep this compact in my bag is it's sturdy construction-I'm not worried about it getting knocked around in my huge bag. It also has a really good sized mirror, so I don't have to squint and squish my face in order to see what I'm doing!
